HydroFacial Specialized Hydro Wand Technology

At Smith Cosmetic Surgery & Medical Aesthetic Center, our cosmetic experts perform hydro dermabrasion facials utilizing the Hydro Wand. This wand removes impurities from the pores, exfoliates dead and damaged skin cells, and infuses specialized serums for deep rejuvenation.

This next-generation HydroFacial tool can be paired with microdermabrasion and chemical peel to enhance results. This provides deeply hydrating exfoliation and serum infusion.

A Hydro Wand treatment session takes around 30 to 60 minutes to perform. It creates results instantly, making the patient’s skin look smoother and improving their complexion. Results are long-lasting.

Denver HydroFacial FAQs

The difference between a Hydro Wand facial and microdermabrasion is the hydration involved. On its own, microdermabrasion uses a crystal stream or a diamond-tipped wand to exfoliate dead skin cells, but this can cause dryness.

A Hydro Wand facial first involves microdermabrasion, followed by deep hydration and serum application with the Hydro Wand. This keeps the skin moisturized and healthy.

There are three types of HydroFacials: Signature, Deluxe, and Platinum.

The Signature HydroFacial cleanses pores, extracts impurities, exfoliates dead skin, and hydrates the skin in around 30 minutes.

The Deluxe HydroFacial takes around 40 minutes and also involves LED light therapy and application of a healing serum.

The Platinum HydroFacial takes around 60 minutes to perform. It includes everything involved with the Deluxe HydroFacial, along with a revitalizing lymphatic drainage massage.

The difference between a HydroFacial and Morpheus8 lies in their mechanism of action. The HydroFacial revitalizes your skin using hydration, vacuum pressure, and deep serum application.

Morpheus8 instead triggers your skin’s natural healing mechanism using microneedling and radiofrequency energy, resulting in increased collagen production.
