Our facial injectables are the ideal way to mask signs of aging. Facial injectables, also known as dermal fillers and neuromodulators, can help diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, fill in moderate and harsh folds, and volumize hollow areas like the temples, jawline, and cheeks.
Dermal filler can complement your look by adding volume to your lips, cheeks, chin, or hands and in some cases even restoring tone and luminosity to your skin.
We offer a variety of the leading dermal fillers and neuromodulators for our patients in Denver, including Botox®, Dysport®, Sculptra, and hyaluronic-acid-based dermal fillers such as Restylane®, Juvederm®, and Revanesse.
All neuromodulator and dermal filler injections are performed by skilled facial plastic surgeon Dr. Bovenzi. Dr. Bovenzi has a deep understanding of the anatomy of the face, including the locations of the veins and nerves that must be avoided during treatments. His years of experience with surgical and non-surgical facial procedures make him the ideal choice for your injectable treatment.
Botox® and Dysport® are FDA-approved neuromodulator injectables used to smooth away fine age lines by relaxing contracted facial muscles. These substances block nerve signals to the muscles, allowing them to lie flat. This in turn allows the overlying skin to lie flat, restoring a smooth and youthful appearance.
Neuromodulators can help Denver patients reduce the appearance of horizontal forehead lines, crow’s feet, glabellar lines, chin wrinkles, bunny lines, sagging oral commissures, harsh vertical neck bands, and more.
Botox® and Dysport® are used to treat several areas of the face, including the forehead, the sides of the eyes, and the region between the eyebrows. They can also be used to treat the neck, the lips, the chin, and the nose. The results of these neuromodulators typically last three to four months.
Before their injectable treatment at our Denver facility, visiting patients can enjoy a trip to the Littleton Museum. This museum showcases Littleton, CO’s culture, history, and art.
Dermal fillers like Juvederm®, Restylane®, and Sculptra are FDA-approved injectable products designed to fill in moderate and harsh wrinkles, correct hollow facial depressions, and add volume to enhance facial features.
Many soft-tissue fillers are mixed with lidocaine, a local anesthetic, to ensure patient comfort throughout the treatment process. Fillers can last anywhere from six months to two years or more.
Juvederm® is a family of dermal filler brands used to add volume and fill in wrinkles. They are composed of synthetic hyaluronic acid (HA). The HA in Juvederm® instantly bonds with water molecules in the skin, creating new volume.
Juvederm® Volbella: This injectable adds volume to thin lips. Volbella can also reduce the appearance of perioral lip lines and correct undereye hollows.
Juvederm® Voluma XC: Voluma XC restores volume to the midface, reducing the look of gaunt cheeks. It can also restore volume to the temples.
Juvederm® Vollure: Vollure is an ideal filler for the reduction of moderate to severe nasolabial folds. It can also address marionette lines and parentheses lines.
Like Juvederm®, Restylane® is a line of hyaluronic-acid-based dermal fillers used to add volume and treat facial wrinkles and folds.
Restylane® Refyne: Refyne is an excellent injectable treatment for moderate midface wrinkles, including less-severe laugh lines. Its consistency is more flexible than Restylane® Defyne.
Restylane® Defyne: Defyne is a firmer filler used to address deeper marionette lines and the nasolabial folds.
Restylane® Lyft: Lyft is a firmer filler used for contouring, restoring facial volume in areas like the cheeks.
Restylane® Kysse: Kysse is a lip-enhancing injectable that retains flexibility. It also provides improvements in lip color and texture.
Restylane® Silk: This lip filler provides subtler results than Kysse and is also ideal for fine lines around the mouth.
Restylane® Eyelight: Eyelight addresses prominent undereye hollows, reducing a constantly fatigued look.
Restylane® Contour: Contour is a flexible filler used for subtle and natural cheek augmentation, treating hollow cheeks and restoring a more youthful appearance.
Sculptra is an injectable product composed of PLLA (poly-L-lactic acid). Rather than being a true filler, it is considered a collagen stimulator. Sculptra increases collagen production to restore facial volume, gradually reducing cheek and jawline hollows and moderate and severe wrinkles. Results look incredibly natural.
Sculptra treatments are delivered at our Denver facility, not far from the beautiful Highlands Ranch Mansion and Historic Park. Visitors enjoy community events, informational and scenic tours, and more.
Liquid rhinoplasty, also called non-surgical rhinoplasty, involves precise injection of soft-tissue dermal fillers into key areas of the nose. These injections create immediate new volume, temporarily reshaping the nose to improve its aesthetic. Liquid rhinoplasty is ideal for correcting a nasal hump, enhancing bridge definition, and lifting a drooping nasal tip.
Liquid rhinoplasty offers a non-surgical alternative for patients who want to improve the contours of their nose without going under the knife. This option only takes about fifteen minutes to perform and helps patients avoid weeks of recovery time.
This treatment can be an excellent way to preview the results that can be achieved through surgery. If a patient is unhappy with their results for any reason, results can easily be reversed through injection of a hyaluronidase.
PRP hair restoration is a perfect choice for patients experiencing androgenic alopecia. It involves injection of PRP (platelet-rich plasma), a substance created using the patient’s own blood. PRP’s growth factors increase blood flow and nourish hair follicles, improving hair growth for Denver patients. PRP also thickens existing hair follicles.
Typically, a PRP hair restoration treatment session takes a half an hour. After the blood is drawn, it is placed into a centrifuge to separate its components. Its platelets and plasma are then used to create PRP.
PRP is injected into areas of the scalp experiencing hair loss. A cooling blower set to -30 degrees is used to cool the area during treatment, reducing any potential discomfort.
The process involves four treatment sessions over the course of six months. Each session must be spaced out at least five weeks apart. Maintenance sessions every three months aid with the regrowth process. Before their PRP hair restoration appointments, our patients often visit local attractions like the Denver Botanic Gardens, the Denver Zoo, and Coors Field.
After the first six months, patients begin to notice hair-regrowth results, which increase over time.
Many of the non-surgical treatments we offer at our Denver aesthetic center use laser and light technology to restore your skin and give you a fresh look. These state-of-the-art treatments apply heat to address unwanted hair, kickstart the healing process, reduce pigmentation and unsightly veins, and more.
We perform laser rejuvenation procedures and laser hair removal treatments at our facility, located near hotels like the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Denver Tech Center, The Inverness Denver, the Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center, and the Denver Marriott Tech Center.
CO2 laser skin resurfacing targets a range of uneven skin tone issues, including hyperpigmented lesions, rough skin texture, fine lines, wrinkles, and even scarring and acne scars.
CO2 laser skin resurfacing achieves effective facial rejuvenation without surgery. The treatment process takes twenty minutes when treating the full face. Topical anesthetic is applied for patient comfort, and patients wear protective eyewear to prevent complications.
At Smith Cosmetic Surgery & Medical Aesthetic Center, we use the Cynosure SMARTSKIN®+ CO2 workstation. The treatment process involves using a handpiece to treat the face evenly with laser energy.
Our fractional CO2 technology uses microbeams of energy to create areas of affected tissue that extend through the topmost layer of your skin. The combination of microbeams and controlled heat powerfully exfoliates and resurfaces the skin, stimulating your body’s natural healing process to create new, healthy collagen. This makes the skin soft and smooth.
A series of three CO2 resurfacing sessions provides the best results for Denver patients. It’s important to wait six to eight weeks between each session to give the skin time to recover. Maintenance treatments are recommended every six to twelve months.
With laser vein therapy treatments, Denver patients can reduce the appearance of broken capillaries like spider veins (telangiectasis) and reticular veins. These blue, red, or purple veins form close to the skin’s surface in areas like the face and legs.
During laser vein therapy, laser energy heats the veins. This causes damage to the veins, and the body then absorbs them, restoring a clearer appearance to the skin.
Usually, around six to nine treatment sessions are needed for optimal vein-reduction results. Six to twelve weeks must pass between sessions.
Laser hair removal addresses unwanted hair on the face and body. With our laser hair removal services in Denver, you will no longer need to wax your face or body. We use industry-leading laser hair removal technology that is safe for all skin types, tones, and shades.
Laser hair removal applies energy to the melanin pigment in the hair’s root, heating the follicle and damaging it. This makes it unable to grow new hairs. The treatment can be used on numerous areas of the face and body, including the chest, back, abdomen, bikini area, chin, upper lip, thighs, arms, armpits, and buttocks.
Patients who come in for laser hair removal treatments often prefer to visit a nearby coffee shop beforehand. We’re near several popular Denver coffee shops, including The Weathervane Cafe, The Molecule Effect, Huckleberry Roasters, Queen City Collective Coffee, Little Owl, and Rivers and Roads.
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), or Photo Facial, is one of the most sought out laser treatments in the medical aesthetic industry. Our Photorejuvenation IPL technology is the latest and most advanced on the market. The Photo Facial treatment targets sun damage, environmental damage, and vascular imperfections while improving the overall appearance of your skin. It addresses redness, sun spots, pigmentation, and tone.
Intense Pulsed Light therapy causes pulses of light to penetrate the tissue and create heat, targeting the skin imperfection in a controlled manner. Through your body’s natural processes of exfoliation, the treated tissue sheds, revealing clearer skin. Simultaneously, collagen and elastin fiber stimulation occur, resulting in a visible improvement in skin tone and texture.
Laser vein therapy utilizing IPL reduces unsightly spider veins and cherry angiomas by shrinking, sealing, and destroying them.
Each treatment is performed with maximum safety in mind and is customized according to the individual’s skin type and desired result. IPL helps you achieve healthy, clear, youthful-looking skin with minimal to no discomfort or downtime.
Before your IPL treatment at Smith Cosmetic Surgery & Medical Aesthetic Center, you may be interested in taking in some art and culture at the Denver Art Museum. Many patients also visit local attractions like the Denver Museum of Nature & Science.
Healthy, radiant skin starts with personalized care. We perform medical-grade skin treatments at Smith Cosmetic Surgery and Medical Aesthetic Center in Denver. Our non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments combine proven techniques and advanced science to renew and revitalize your complexion.
From microneedling with PRP to medical-grade peels and exfoliation, each treatment is designed to target Denver patients’ unique concerns—whether it’s acne, aging, dullness, or discoloration. These non-surgical options support collagen production, refine texture, and enhance overall skin health.
Microneedling with PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is an all-in-one treatment we recommend to our patients who want to target multiple skin concerns simultaneously. Microneedling targets fine lines, acne and other scarring, skin texture and tone, neck wrinkles, and other superficial skin irregularities.
Microneedling with PRP is performed in the comfort of our Denver office, not far from the Holly Park Pool and Tennis Center and the South Suburban Golf Course. This golf course features 18 holes and a driving range, along with the South Suburban Bar & Grill for casual dining.
After PRP is created using the patient’s own blood, the microneedling treatment is performed. This minimally invasive facial rejuvenation treatment takes around a half an hour and begins with application of a topical anesthetic.
The handpiece is moved evenly over the skin of the treatment area, creating tiny microchannels. Afterwards, the PRP is administered to the area. The microchannels allow it to penetrate more deeply into the tissues for enhanced efficacy.
Our FDA-cleared SkinPen® device features fourteen tiny sterilized microneedles. These create controlled microinjuries that activate your body’s natural healing process. This increases collagen and elastin, allowing your skin to return to a healthier-looking and youthful appearance in as few as three to six treatments. Only minimal downtime is needed.
Our customized chemical peels are medical-grade and are packed full of powerful ingredients. They gently exfoliate your skin, leaving it feeling clear, smooth, and refreshed.
Chemical peels involve application of a mixture of chemicals precisely chosen to address each patient’s specific skin issues. The mixture gradually soaks into the skin layers, encouraging dead skin cells to slough away over time. This reveals fresh new skin cells.
Our medical-grade chemical peels target a range of skincare issues at once, including faint sun damage, coarse skin texture, acne, pigmentation, and enlarged pores, to improve skin clarity, tone, and texture. A chemical peel is a cost-effective treatment with minimal downtime, making it the perfect way to prepare for a special event when you need a quick refresh!
For our patients with skin texture issues, minor blemishes, and enlarged pore size, microdermabrasion can help. Microdermabrasion is a safe, low-risk, non-invasive procedure that reveals youthful and radiant skin with virtually no downtime.
Microdermabrasion is a superficial skin resurfacing treatment used to revive skin that appears dull or lifeless. Our crystal-free microdermabrasion technology uses an exfoliation wand tipped with actual diamonds to gently remove dead and damaged skin cells from the outermost layers. This leaves your skin supple and vibrant and gives it a youthful glow.
As a prep treatment prior to a chemical peel, microdermabrasion will allow the chemical peel to reach the deeper layers of the epidermis, resulting in a deeper, more successful peel.
Microdermabrasion done as a monthly skin prep ritual will allow your medical-grade skincare products to penetrate deeper into the layers of the epidermis and even to the dermis, where the new cells are generated. This allows your product to have a greater effect.
We offer several effective skincare products and at-home treatments. These medical-grade skincare products and treatments are trusted by dermatologists and skincare specialists in Denver and worldwide.
Medical-grade skincare products are science-backed and clinically proven to improve skin health and aesthetics. They often contain higher concentrations of ingredients like antioxidants, retinol, and peptides compared to over-the-counter products.
Medical-grade skincare lines include products like cleansers, sunscreens, moisturizers, serums, and toners. These products can protect your skin and address issues like sun damage, dryness, eczema, fine age lines, age spots, acne, and rosacea.
Our Aesthetic Center offers clinical skincare from leading brands such as SkinMedica, EltaMD, skinbetter, and Alastin. Whether you’re unveiling your skin’s true potential or maintaining expertly crafted facelift results, you won’t believe the difference.
